E28A Investor KITAS — Index 313

Live and work in your own Indonesian company

The investor residency built for founders and shareholders of a PT PMA. Hold a 1–2 year stay permit, work in your own business, and let our licensed sponsor partners carry the paperwork while you build.

Overview

Residency designed for business owners

The E28A Investor KITAS — still widely referenced by its legacy code, Index 313 — is the work-permission residency for foreign nationals who own and run a PT PMA, Indonesia’s foreign-investment company structure. Unlike a standard work KITAS sponsored by an employer, the investor KITAS is tied to your shareholding in your own company, allowing you to direct the business and work within it legally. It is issued for 1 to 2 years and is renewable, giving founders a stable base from which to grow operations in Bali and across the archipelago. Our service starts from IDR 17.5 jt, all-in pricing with no hidden fees, and our team replies within two working hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still unsure? Message our concierge — we reply within two working hours.

Do I need a PT PMA to qualify?

Yes. The E28A is tied to ownership of a PT PMA, the foreign-investment company structure. If you have not incorporated yet, we can assist with full PT PMA setup before your KITAS application.

What capital is required?

As of 2026 the requirement is a minimum paid-up capital of IDR 10 billion (approximately USD 650,000) deposited in an Indonesian bank, alongside a valid investment plan filed with BKPM.

Can I bring my family?

Yes. Spouses and dependent children can be included on dependent permits linked to your investor KITAS. Tell us your family situation and we will quote the full package. For long-stay alternatives you may also look at our E33 Second Home Visa.

How long is processing?

Timelines depend on company readiness and immigration workload, but with documents in order the KITAS is typically issued within a few weeks. For purely investment-led residency without a company, ask us about the E28B Golden Visa.
