Bali D1 Multiple-Entry Visa

Year-round access to Indonesia, on one visa

For frequent travellers tired of the endless cycle of single-entry applications. The D1 multiple-entry visa lets you explore Bali and beyond with ease for 1, 2 or even 5 years.

Overview

Unparalleled freedom for frequent visitors

The D1 Multiple-Entry Visa is officially for tourism, family visits or social purposes. Each entry allows a stay of up to 60 days; after 60 days you exit and re-enter for another stay of up to 60 days, within the visa’s overall validity of 1, 2 or 5 years. It is perfect for frequent travellers and business professionals attending meetings or conferences — though it does not permit employment or direct business activities within Indonesia.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still unsure? Message our concierge — we reply within two working hours.

Can I apply while already in Indonesia?

No. The D1 visa must be applied for and issued while you are outside Indonesia. It is an entry visa, not a stay-permit extension.

How long is each stay?

Up to 60 days per entry. After 60 days you exit and re-enter for another stay of up to 60 days, within the overall validity period.

How long does processing take?

It varies with document completeness, nationality checks and immigration workload, but applications are often processed within a few business days through the eVisa system.

Does the D1 let me work in Indonesia?

No. The D1 is for tourism, family or social purposes and does not permit employment or direct business activity. If you intend to work or invest, ask us about KITAS options.
